Look For Less - Victoria Beckham Tote

I'm a huge fan of Victoria Beckham and her designs, but us mere mortals can't really justify dropping $2000+ on a handbag.  So it's nice when you can find a similar look at a much lower price!  This tote from Boden is just chic for a whole lot less.

My Take - Chanel Spring 2013 Hula Hoop Bag

Remember this crazy "hula hoop" bag that was sent down the runway in Chanel's Spring 2013 show?  Ridiculous, right?  Well, the concept has finally trickled down to a more affordable (and wearable) incarnation.  Check out Kate Spade Saturday's version!  Cute, right?  It's on sale now for $84, I have a feeling it will fly off the shelves!

I can't even tell you guys how much I LOVE this bag.  The perfect mix of fashion and fun!  Now if only someone could buy it for me, 'cause this cutie ain't cheap.

My Take - Celine Spring 2014 Handbag

Celine always introduces serious "it" bags every season.  For the recent Spring 2014 collection, this geometric-shaped handle bag was featured heavily.  Of course it's going to be extremely pricey (duh), but I like the idea of the gold, geometric handle playing against the black leather.  I ran across this gorgeous Jonathan Adler tote that I think is a pretty awesome alternative.

My Take - Stella McCartney Fall 2013 Clutch

Zara Leather Clutch - $159

When I first saw these Stella McCartney Clutches (top images) from her Fall 2013 collection, I fell in love.  The shape, the wood grain bottom, swoon.  But we all know it's waaay out of budget.  The good news is I found a great, more budget friendly alternative from Zara.  It's still $160 but way cheaper than Ms. McCartney's (and it comes with a shoulder strap in case you want to go hands-free)!

Kate Spade Saturday Perf Pouch - $50

I've been loving Victoria Beckham's handbag line, especially her chic little clutches.  But needless to say they are all a bit out of my price range.  I really like the laser cut clutches that Victoria has been carrying lately.  I can't seem to find one online at all (so I guess it's either last season or sold out).  I ran across these lovely pouches from Kate Spade Saturday, I think they are a pretty good substitute! I mean they are a heck of a lot cheaper ;o)

 I am a L.L.Bean tote bag addict.  They are the most useful, durable, affordable and chic bags to haul your stuff.  And *bonus* the original Boat and Tote bags are still made in Maine!  You can choose from several colors (I'm partial to the red) and you can have it monogrammed if you want!  I adore the camo print Hunter's Tote, I've had mine for years and I get compliments on it all the time (I've heard through the grapevine that Michael Kors swears by the exact same bag).  And right now they are all 20% off through May 29th!  It's the perfect time to stock up on these American classics!

Happy Weekend and My Fall Bag Wishlist

Boy, let me tell you how happy I am that this week is over!  It was real and it was nice, but it wasn't real nice.  Here's to a better next week!  Now that September is knocking on our doors, I've been obsessing over getting a new handbag for Fall.  I'm kind of not feeling my trusty black bag, I want something a little different.  Here are the ones I'm leaning towards:

Top Left - L.A.M.B. $425

Obviously I would love to have that L.A.M.B. houndstooth bag, but at $425 I'm not sure I can justify it.  I love the idea of a nice saddle brown bag (though I worry that since I have a LV Speedy monogram that it might be redundant to have another brown bag?).  I'm also digging a blue option.  What do you think?  Do you have any preferences?

This or That - Summertime Clutch

Since I first spotted this super cool Jimmy Choo clutch, I've been in love.  I'm attracted to accessories with some personality.  Of course with a $795 price tag it's a bit out of my reach.  This Kate Spade clutch is still pricey, but is just as fun and totally gives off that Summertime vibe.  What do you think?

I Want This! - Green Handbag (Happy St. Patrick's Day!)

The idea of a green handbag has been bouncing around in my head for quite a while now.  However I've never acted on that want, I hem and haw about what color green and how much to spend, etc.  But I recently saw this picture on Pinterest (I think it's a Celine bag, but not 100% sure)...
