Various Fall 2012 picks

It's not even officially Summer yet, but I'm going to wrap up my Fall 2012 collection coverage with various picks.  Bring on Resort 2013 (which I've already started digging into with Bottega Veneta and Oscar de la Renta)!

Balenciaga

Love the colors here and the metallic accents in a sort of leopard pattern.  Take note of the sheen.

Versace

Nice but sheesh I'm so tired of this goth, moody vibe from Versace.  I want Donatella to think about a little more than what she would wear 24/7.  Love certain pieces but then it's gets so repetitive (like fashion "white noise").  Snore.

Celine

Dolce & Gabbana

Lots o' lace and brocade.  I really want the late 1990's/early 2000's D&G back.  Sigh.

Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2010

From what I've read this collection had people in tears.  I gather it was because of the video they had playing behind the models on the runway with the duo working on the clothes along with their staff.  Adding to that the clothes that went down the runway were a return of sorts to Dolce & Gabbana's roots with the sharply tailored suits and jackets and the va va voom dresses.  It was a lovely collection, I did not cry though - LOL!  Here are my faves:

D&G Fall 2010

Hello Nordic theme!  I looked through this collection while I was watching the Winter Olympics so it sort of fit.  A bit repetitive with color and motif (and the parade of white dresses at the end) but hey, it's D&G, they love a theme.  Here are my picks:
