This collection was a little mod, a little nautical, a little preppy and chock full of super wearable pieces that would integrate into most anyone's wardrobe effortlessly.  Stripes were the story of the day as well as pops of yellow, cobalt blue, red and kelly green.  A great collection to inspire your own wardrobe.  Here are my picks and trend takeaways, enjoy!

Oh wow, this was a tight, glamorous collection.  Love the color story of gold, black, white, cobalt blue with a bit of green and red as well.  Just perfect in every way.   I love how he can get the vibe across without being so insanely repetitive.  So chic.  Here are my (more than 5 picks).

This collection was typical Kors, elegant and luxurious.  Very heavy on grey, black, red and camel.  Lots of two color plaids and buffalo checks on blanket-like skirts, jackets and wraps.  Here are my picks:

In this month's Harper's Bazaar there's a great interview with Michael Kors - I just love this quote from him:

"I think to be empathetic is the greatest gift you can have as a designer. Hopefully, people will look at me and say, 'He really loved women.'"

Very clean lines with this collection.  Solids, stripes, a dash of color blocking and one print in either black, red, white or that cobalt blue that will not go away!  I'm glad it's not going away, it's a very clean, happy color that makes you feel good (and is easy to wear).  Here are my five picks, enjoy!

I want this! - Michael Kors Watch

It's been a long time since I've been eyeballing a new watch, I've been perfectly happy with my Hamilton Chatham my hubby got me as a gift years ago (similar, but mine is a different color).  Occasionally a watch will catch my fancy (hello, white ceramic Chanel J12 - just slightly out of my price range, ha!) but nothing makes me want to not stick with my trusty timepiece.  But this little Michael Kors number in "rose golden" is pulling me it's way.

I just love it!  Rose gold just feels so "right" at the moment.  But the $250 price tag does not - boo.  It's on my never ending wish list.

I love this outfit, it's comfortable, casual and I think can translate well into our lives right now.  Here is my version:

I went ahead and added the geode necklace since they were featured prominately in the collection.  I love the white on white (though I'm thinking it's not so kid friendly.  I guarantee if I wore this some bleach would be in a future laundry load - LOL!)

This collection was pure American sportswear luxury.  With camels, greys and creams - it was a clean palette.  Now I have a "I-own-a-vacation-home-in-the-mountains" fantasy.  Here is what I would wear if I had that home - LOL!
