This collection boasted a palette of grey, aqua, turquoise, navy and midnight blue with touches of sparkle. It appears that Mr. Armani is taking his inspiration from space and the night sky. I totally dig the colors and vibe, not digging the hats (if that's what you want to call them). Here are my picks:

My Five - Armani Prive Fall 2012 Couture
This collection was all about pastels and shine mixed in with lots of grounding black (velvet, no less). These pastels were a mix of lavenders, blues, mauves, pinks. It was a very soothing palette that brought to mind outer space for me but the actual inspiration wasn't far off, it was dusk and dawn, those colors and how they play with the night sky. I actually really love that, those colors and light create a mood - who doesn't stop with awe at the colors of a spectacular sunrise and/or sunset? Here are my picks:

My Five - Armani Prive Spring 2012
This collection was all about blue and green and texture and sparkle and sheen. This is one of those times I wish I could get my hands on the fabrics and just study them, they look amazing. If I don't see that last dress at the Oscars I'm going to be PO'ed! Check out my picks:

Armani Prive Spring 2011
Hmmm, very futuristic and a bit repetitive in my humble opinion. I love the shiny fabric, but it would maybe have been nice to see a little less of it (and less of the hats/flying saucers - lol!). Nevertheless, it's a lovely collection. Enjoy my picks!

If you think this blue trend is going away, you are wrong - lol! Armani's entire Spring collection was in various shades of blue! Here are my five favorite looks (plus some detail shots). Enjoy!

Armani Prive Fall 2010
Simply beautiful, lots of brown and very businesslike (maybe a bit too businesslike for Couture, but it was glam enough to work). Luxurious suits and dresses, by far my favorite Armani collection - Prive or RTW - in a long time. Please do enjoy my favorite looks:

Amazing Hotel Alert! - Armani Hotel Dubai
On April 27, 2010 Giorgio Armani opened up his first hotel - Armani Hotel Dubai - in Dubai's Burj Khalifa (aka the world's tallest building). It's exactly the luxurious minimalism one would expect from Mr. Armani. Almost too minimalist for moi (the hallway looks like something out of "The Matrix"), but you be the judge:
(Can I get a floral print or something to break up the lines? LOL!) Get more details and read more about it here.

Giorgio Armani Fall 2010
A mostly black and white collection in the beginning then transitioning to bright orange, red, etc. accents and some eye catching prints. These are my faves:

Armani Prive - Spring 2010 Couture
The theme for this collection was the moon (and I mean quite literally, there were crescent moons everywhere, which was kind of cheesy when you see one moon accessory after another, too distracting from the actual clothes - becomes sort of a "where's Waldo" issue, "where's the moon?"). He probably could have edited some outfits out and you wouldn't have missed them, but overall it was quite beautiful. My faves:
