I'm back?!?! Well, not really...

I'm sort of back, but not really.  I'm here in the condo, furniture has been ordered (hubby ordered from Ikea, without my input - grrr, but hey he's the money man so I'll let it slide for now), stuff unpacked, laundry and cleaning still underway.  As I type this hubby is researching internet/TV options, I have a feeling many phone calls are in my future.  I'm grabbing some internet from the neighbors, I'll thank them later.  Anyhoo, I was scrolling through my Google Reader earlier and ran across this photo from Decades, Inc's blog:

Well, I just about fainted - I'll take all of these, thanks.  Oh my gosh, I had to share.  I wonder if Rachel Zoe will rush in and buy one?  Just think, one of these costs more than the furniture he bought today.  What are we gonna do with that furniture when we really do move?  Can't think about that now.  I promise to post more when we get up and running.  Bear with me...

Guess who's going "bye-bye" again?

ME!  Yeah, while our house is still on the market (we need a buyer now, please) we are going to "move" to a condo in the new city.  I've never told the story of my last year, but I won't bore you with the misery now.  Long story short, my hubby and I have been apart for a year now - back and forth on weekends since he got transferred last October.  But me, I've basically been alone with the baby since she was 3 1/2 months old, taking care of the house, pool, etc.  I'm quite literally getting sick of it.  I'm falling apart mentally and physically.  This blog, my Bravo shows, getting hooked on "The Young and the Restless", and my super fabu friends have kept me sane during this fiasco.  So tomorrow I travel to the new "home", then I have to make a detour to NC for an interview - please wish me luck - as well as seeing the family.  So I will be without the internet for a while.  I hope to be back with it sometime late next week, but who knows? 

2009 has been a heck of a year (not in a good way) so I'm taking all of this change as a sign that things are looking up.  Deep, cleansing breaths all around.  Thank you all so much for reading my little blog of random things - heavy on the fashion shows lately.  I really appreciate it!  See you all soon!

Where am I?

Okay, okay, I've totally been missing in action for the past week. In my defense, I've been completely overwhelmed. Between a day trip (with the 1 year old) to Augusta last Tuesday, my Mother coming into town for a visit last Wednesday, day trip (again with 1 year old) to Atlanta Thursday - more on that later - and then my daughter's first Birthday party Saturday, I'm beat. I barely checked my emails. So I promise I'll be better this week (Mom and hubby leave tomorrow morning)! I did miss you, I swear!
