My Take - Celine Spring 2014 Handbag

Top: Celine Spring 2014

Celine always introduces serious "it" bags every season.  For the recent Spring 2014 collection, this geometric-shaped handle bag was featured heavily.  Of course it's going to be extremely pricey (duh), but I like the idea of the gold, geometric handle playing against the black leather.  I ran across this gorgeous Jonathan Adler tote that I think is a pretty awesome alternative.

Mini-trend Alert!

Hey guys, I'm going to have to postpone the second installment of Uniform Dressing until next week (where I'll hit it twice).  There are some things going on behind the scenes here in Spryland that need to be addressed (don't worry they are good things, not bad ones) but we have a lot of things to coordinate and work out which involves lots of time and phone calls.  I'll let you know about it a bit later.  Unfortunately, it doesn't involve a job for me yet, but I'm still working on that.  In the meantime enjoy this little mini-trend I spied late last week.

Saw these recently and they remind me of each other - a cool take on the stripe trend.  Funny how it's hitting home and clothing at the same time - love when that happens!

Jonathan Adler for 7 for All Mankind - available now!

Jonathan Adler has teamed up with 7 for All Mankind to design a limited edition Men's and Women's collection - available now.   The collection has all the fun colors and patterns that you would expect from Mr. Adler.  My pick is the Deluxe Sleevless Tunic in Keyhole print (seen below) - fun!
I love this whole look!

I want this! - Jonathan Adler Seahorse Lamp

I must be in serious need of a vacation at the beach, because the minute I saw this lamp I fell in love.  Jonathan Adler Seahorse lamp - $295.  (sorry for the small picture - but you get the idea).

On an unrelated note, I hope everyone had a lovely Easter/long weekend.  We've gotten a bit off schedule and mixed up (the little one has decided to boycott her daytime naps which has been a challenge, I'm hoping it's just a phase and the naps will kick back in soon).  My blogging may be a bit random for the rest of the week.  :o)

I want this! - Jonathan Adler melamine dishes

At the moment I'm relying quite heavily on melamine dishes, between the little one and our living situation (hello, all my dishware is in our "for sale" house) it just makes sense.  I'm totally loving Jonathan Adler's new Outdoor Chic collection - the "Neptune" pattern in particular.  Chic, fun and the price is right!

I want this! - Jonathan Adler needlepoint Zodiac pillows

Oh my love affair with Jonathan Adler continues (come on Jonathan, you and Simon give me a call so we can hang out, please?  No?  Oh well).  I'm loving these Zodiac needlepoint pillows - $98 each.  Of course, I would have to get one for each person in the house.  First, moi the Scorpio:
Then for hubby, the Capricorn:
Then for the little one, the Gemini:

I know, again with the Jonathan Adler, but I am in love with a few new things he has out now:

This great "dragon light" $695

Or if you don't want it in lamp form, it comes as just as a stand alone dragon $350

And I just love these "garden of eden" salt and pepper shakers $48

I want this!

I'm a Jonathan Adler fan - big time. Love his book, love the way he interprets things, love his partner, love his dog, etc. Big fan! I love the new glasses he's come out with, mostly for the color! How great are these colors?
