Monochromatic Monday - Black/Grey
Okay, so not a complete monochromatic look, more of an "absence of color" look, but I'm loving it!
1. Darth Vader tee / 2. Heather Hawkins earrings / 3. Mango leopard print coat / 4. Gap clutch / 5. Converse slip-on sneakers / 6. Blank NYC vegan leather pants
Linking up with MomTrends today for the Monday Mingle and with Lena and Rachel for Passion for Fashion!

Hunter Green + Grey Goodness
I've been seeing lots of hunter green paired with grey out and about right now and I must admit I love it! I'm not the biggest hunter green fan, this is mostly due to the fact that this sort of green was insanely popular with the middle to low-end upholstery crowd I began my career designing for. So much so that I could not stand to look at another navy, hunter green, and or burgundy fabric (especially plaid). It was all too much. I'm not sure if I will ever warm up to it in my home decor, but I'm certainly warming up to it being in my wardrobe. Here are a couple of examples of how I would like to wear a little hunter green and grey!

Favorite Post - Color coincidence
I’m currently on a family vacation - it’s actually more of a “staycation” with a few little jaunts here and there. So for this week, I decided to repost some of my favorite blog entries from the past. I’m sort of guest posting for myself – ha! If you are a long time reader, you may remember these, if not it’ll be like all new stuff! Either way, I hope you find them interesting and fun! See you back on 7/12!
You know I love a good color trend and a little over a year ago this turquoise/grey one popped out and couldn't be ignored. I'm still digging it, perhaps I should do a "my take" outfit inspired by it? Interested? Originally posted 6/2/09
I'm a magazine-aholic and I had pulled some images over the past few weeks and just stacked them on my desk. I was sifting through them today and noticed a very interesting color palette that emerged. A grey/spa blue/turquoise/silver combination. This also ties in very nicely with my post about The Nines hotel and their gorgeous guest rooms. I really like it!

I want this! - MAC Nail Lacquer "Light Affair" - Another Update!
I've been flirting with the idea of greyish nails, why? I don't know. I ran across this color (Light Affair) from MAC and it's a lovely pale grey/taupe/mauve. It appeals to me. Nails are a great way to change things up, so this might be worth a shot! Anyone tried this trend? Any opinions?
*UPDATE* I purchased this and it's such a nice warm grey. I almost want to say it comes off as the palest lavender with more red than blue. Does that make sense? I painted my toenails with it and I love it! I will not subject you to my icky, dry feet right now, so I haven't posted a picture. I say YES to this trend!
*Another Update* I painted my fingernails and here's a (blurry) picture, just so you get an idea. I'm loving the color!
