go to Ralph Lauren's Rugby. It's such a cool website and has great collegiate type clothing mixed with a downtown vibe. The best part about the site is that you can customize certain pieces with patches and embroidery! It's fun and totally personalized. Love it!!!

go to Louis Vuitton - a journey beyond and check out the great LV ad (above) featuring Sally Ride, Buzz Aldrin and Jim Lovell. I'm a space buff and a LV fan, so this is a great treat! There is also video of them speaking about - what else? - space! It's so very well done.

If you are a hotel junkie, like myself, pop over to Montague. They supply casegoods to lovely hotels all over (check out the picture on the homepage - how I would LOVE to stay in that hotel room!). This room from the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco is so cheery! Ah, nothing better than a great hotel!

pop over to Smithsonian's website and check out some photos from the Hubble Space Telescope, they are breathtaking! I'm wondering why someone hasn't turned some of these into rugs or even printed lining for jackets, etc (though if I'm not mistaken Escada had something similar a few years back as lining, I'll have to find that picture).

zip over to NYC florist Sandra de Ovando's website - there you will find the most original, dreamy flower arrangements I've ever seen. My personal favorite the "Floating Flower Ball" followed closely by the "Cymbidum Circle" - just divine!!

please go to Hermes.com and sign up for their email newsletters. Today's arrived with this lovely picture (how fab are these colors?):

What I love most about these emails are the illustrations - the website has them too. The illustrations are integrated with the product on the site in a very clever way! For the ultimate luxury company, they show an amazing whimsy and humor. I guess one would have to feel such whimsy to fork over $10,000 for a Birkin bag (and don't you think for a second that if I had 10K to throw around that I wouldn't put my name on that waiting list - in Hermes signature orange please - and blue and taupe, oh dear there are visions of Birkins dancing in my head)!

So take a peak at Hermes and see them in a fun way - I mean who doesn't need a $530 beach towel?!? All kidding* aside, they have put together a great site and do wander over to the "world of Hermes" there you can print out, color and assemble your very own Kelly bag (out of regular paper). Fun!

* Oh, I'm not kidding about that Birkin bag thing - I really do need one or five of those :o)
