Back to the archives again, I love revisiting a season and seeing what still works and seems fresh!  I must say that this isn't a groundbreaking look, but it's one that's timeless and honestly Isaac's Spring 2010 collection was fabulous (my post here).  Away we go:

Yesterday I posted my five favorite looks from this collection and this look was one of the ones I picked:

Loving the casual, yet still pulled together vibe.  I'm also digging the cobalt blue and kelly green combination that is familiar yet really fresh.  I'm going to revisit a blue dress from a previous Bottega Veneta Resort "my take" (I'm really tempted to purchase said dress since it's on sale now):

My Five - Isaac Mizrahi Resort 2011

Ah, Isaac, you shall always have a special place in my heart.  It was a smallish resort collection, but one that covered a lot of ground, it was also one where you could easily imagine a 20 or 80 year old wearing some of the outfits.  Meaning that (and this is where Isaac excels) he wants to dress women of all ages, not just youngsters.  Also loving that kelly green and cobalt blue make an appearance (I'll be posting a "my take" tomorrow - stay tuned).  Okay, back to the task at hand, my five favorite looks, away we go:

Get This! - O Magazine March 2010

One of my best friends got me a subscription to O Magazine for my birthday last year and I have really enjoyed it.  Every issue is chock full of good info, but March's issue is outstanding.  It's all about de-cluttering your life and it's worth picking up.  I'm sort of an organizational geek so it really appealed to me.  Here are a couple of things that I liked from the issue that I thought I would share:

First off, organizational guru Peter Walsh helps a young professional photographer organize her office (which is in her living room).  In the contributors section in the front of the issue, Peter says something that really hit home with me about being organized "...my parents taught us to take care of the things we did have - to respect our possessions.  I was always an organized kid, but I think respect is the basis for the work I do."  This is something I firmly believe too.

Then there is an editorial about Spring's Best, Most Wearable Trends.  Here are some of my favorite images:

Okay, so these images are a bit outdated, but I just loved the editorial in March 2009's O Magazine featuring Isaac Mizrahi for Liz Claiborne.  Sure it's now Autumn, but we can all appreciate a little bit of Spring all year round.  I should mention that I ran across this issue in my Mom's house when I was visiting.  Yep, she had a stack of magazines for me to go through.  Ah well, it was worth it.
