My Five - Emilio Pucci Spring 2013

I just want to say that Peter Dundas continues to do amazing things at Pucci.  Gorgeous and glamorous just like the Pucci of yesteryear but he's spreading his wings by not doing as many of the signature prints and splashes of color.  This collection is a great example of this.  He's using sheer layers, embroidery and embellishment to create beautiful, almost delicate garments.  I'm really loving the dragon motifs, very cool.  Here are my (5+1) picks!

Trend takeaways:
1.  Gold accents
2.  Military vibe

My Five - Emilio Pucci Fall 2012

A collection full of sexy, chic dresses and separates (it was really nice to see the pant/coat combos).  It felt both fun, grown up and a bit dangerous with all the peek-a-boo cuts.  With this collection, Mr. Dundas has officially made the leap to "ageless" dressing.  Meaning, I can see many of the clothes appealing to a range of ages.  Yay!  Pucci continues to be a house to keep your eye on.  Here are my picks:

Check out the gorgeous shoes!  Swoon!

My Five - Emilio Pucci Spring 2012

Ahhh, Peter Dundas has proven to be a fab fit for the Pucci label.  I swear he's managed to marry the fun, jet set prints with a boho modern vibe.  Glam and granola, if you will.  I LOVE it!  Brilliant!  Here are my picks from this collection.

This wedding dress - oh.my.Lord.  I want it and I'm already married!

A knitted, beaded skull motif?  Yeah, baby!

My Five - Emilio Pucci Resort 2011

Ah, I'm so happy to see some Pucci signature prints make an appearance.  A really spot on collection that really captures what you look to Pucci for.  My five faves (the blue dress *swoon*):

Emilio Pucci Fall 2010

Well, this collection was fab with a hippie and bohemian vibe.  And you still got a bit of "Pucci" with the prints and embellishment.  Very nicely done (Versace take notes).  Here are the looks that caught my eye:

Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2010

Too much black and more prints please - that's what I thought looking at this collection.  It's not that it's a bad collection, it's not, I just want it more "Pucci-fied".  I always want to see prints when looking at a Pucci collection.  Come on people, work with me here...
