Meet The Beetles!

True story, when I was in college I worked part time in the insect museum at the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, where I had to tend to the insect specimens in the collection. Once you get past the creepy crawlies of it, you discover there are some beautiful bugs out there!  Beetles are some of the prettiest and they are a trend right now. Eeeek!!!

I totally forgot to tell all 4 of you reading this (if that many - ha) that I killed a scorpion in my kitchen last weekend. Yeah, it was little, but it was ready to kick my butt, if needed. I had fished dead ones out of our pool, but this is the first time in my life I've seen a live one. I felt sort of bad, I am a Scorpio after all, but I didn't want me or my little one to get stung. Needless to say, I'm very much on guard now for creepy crawlies. And there are many creepy crawlies down here south of Atlanta!
