My Five - Reed Krakoff Fall 2012

A very streamlined collection from Mr. Krakoff.  It's all about black, grey, winter whites, beiges and orange (it's sticking around).  I loved all the mixture of textures from furry to flowy transparent.  I'm also taking note of the mixture of neutrals, love that!  Here are my picks, but first let's start with a couple of outstanding accessories.

My Five - Prada Fall 2012

Coming off of last Spring's hot rod themed collection this one was a bit of a let down.  But hey, every collection can't be as awesome as that one, right?  I mean who doesn't want a pair of those flame shoes?  This collection isn't bad by any means, but it was a bit repetitive (with the large gems bedazzling the clothes and the mixing of super graphic prints).  Prada is a designer whose clothes you either love or hate.  I'm firmly in the "love" category, but I realize that sometimes the parts are more appealing than the whole.  This is certainly the case with this collection. 

Before I share my picks, I would like to introduce what certainly may be one of "the shoes" of Fall 2012.  I predict you will see this in a Fall Vogue editorial:

My (way more than) Five - Alexander McQueen Fall 2012

I hope you had a great weekend!  I've been so sick since Thursday, it just knocked me out.  I'm on the mend now thankfully.  Let's start this week off on a fabulous note with my picks from Sarah Burton's collection for Alexander McQueen.  It's a really beautiful collection that brings to mind fluffy flowers, light and air.  Sarah Burton continues to blow me away with every single collection.  God Bless her for continuing McQueen's legacy.  Here are my favorites:

My Five - Bottega Veneta Fall 2012

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  I spent mine trying to get items together and labeled for the local kid's consignment sale (held twice a year).  There are a few in my area, but I usually consign and shop at the one at the church less than a mile from my house - talk about easy.  I'll have a post later in the week about these sales, in case you are curious.
