4 of 30 - Denim, Leopard and Flowers
Finally! I cut the tags of this Tucker for Target blouse and wore it - I mean it only took months. Sheesh. What is my problem? I absolutely love it, it's comfortable and easy to wear. I'm not one for a ton of prints, especially floral prints. I think it comes from years designing residential fabrics, you start looking at prints and see them on sofas and chairs and not on clothes. Must be why I wore so many neutrals early in my career ;o) Anyhoo, I decided to mix it up with my leopard flats and jeans. Can't go wrong with either of those. In fact, you could probably take any of my tops in the challenge and pair them with the jeans and leopard flats and do just fine. Which means you will be seeing them again - ha!

3 of 30 - Black, Grey, and Beige
This outfit is a bit boring, but I wasn't really doing anything but hanging out at home and working (and by work I mean doing laundry, making phone calls and preparing for school to start back on Saturday). I must confess that these pants are my "go to" pants, I mean they so comfortable with tons of stretch. I don't even want to remember the days before someone wised up and finally put a little Spandex/Lycra into women's pants and jeans. Seriously, the pre-stretch days were stiff and uncomfortable, people. That's why everything was so baggy, just so you could move. At least that's what I tell myself when I look at my pictures from back in the day. Yikes!

Redefine Balance
My amazing Sister-In-Law/Life Coach has a brand new blog that just launched this week. Here's a little about her and her work:
"I love working with women to create balance in their lives after they have children! I believe we can design our perfect life if we make conscious choices and if we are willing to examine and explore what we want from life. My goal with this blog is to offer women a source of motivation and to provide questions and fieldwork that are challenging and help you explore the relationship you have with yourself and others. I want to help you realize your potential so you can share your wonderful and unique qualities with the world! "
- Coach Gaye
She was a valuable resource for me when I became a Mom. I didn't know how to balance everything and not get lost in the process. Please pop over and check her blog out - each week she will be covering a different topic. I'm super excited to see what she has in store!

2 of 30 - Blush and Brown
I must say I absolutely love this cardigan I scored for a song at LOFT last week - love it! I paired it with my trusty old dark brown chinos and brown suede wedges that make me feel about 10 feet tall! I bought the wedges when I first started my job in NYC way back in '06. I ordered them online and when I got them they fit, but just not perfectly. Since the bottoms are wooden they don't really bend, so my heel kept slipping out - grrr. I had to do some work with insoles and heel pads, which worked out really well. Don't underestimate the power of a good gel insole! Dr. Scholls is a good friend.
The squishy face makes a return!

Uniform Dressing 6:1
Time for another installment of Uniform Dressing! I'm going to mix it up a little this month in honor of Valentine's Day - every Uniform Dressing post this month will feature something red! Red is a great addition to any wardrobe, it's a nice pop of color that isn't too crazy and comes in so many variations from bold to subtle. We'll start out the month with a red coat/jacket. I love a red coat, my favorite winter coat is a lovely berry. It's nice to have a bright cheery color in the grey days of Winter. Dress it up or dress it down. Away we go...
On a related note - I popped into Ann Taylor last week and they had the most amazing ikat leopard print featured on dresses (see above), skirts, and (my personal favorite) the shirt below. Trust me, it is pretty much perfection.

Again Sarah Burton does not disappoint, this girl hit the ground running. This collection had a military flavor with pops of red. Here are my picks!

1 of 30 - Denim and Stripes
My first outfit of the 30 for 30!
Nothing says cozy like this cardigan. I will have to restrain myself from wearing it every. single. day. Seriously. Part of the reason I wanted to do this challenge is that I tend to put on the same outfits over and over again. I felt the need to really push myself to think outside the box, I wanted to find the "fun" in my wardrobe like I used to.
And with the cardigan off!
Cardigan - #18
Top - #10
Jeans - #15
Shoes - #29
Necklace - made by my Mom (incorporating a coral bracelet my hubby gave me a long time ago)
Earrings - post about them here
