Well, this is the first time I've seen this collection and it's cute (very Palm Beach vibe) .  It's not a perfect assortment of items, much seems to be geared towards older ladies, in my opinion.  But here are a few things that have potential:

My Five - Tory Burch Resort 2011

Okay, so I could only scrounge up three looks that I could even wrap my head around (full collection/mess here).  I wouldn't have even bothered, but I do really like Tory Burch's clothes.  Is it just me, or does every recent showing of hers just feel like everything is just piled on and/or weird shoes are used (here and here)?  I cannot relate to any of the outfits, however, seeing them in individual pieces later, they make more sense to me.  Maybe her styling team just overstyles it all to appeal to a younger demographic?  I don't know.  Any thoughts?  I am a loyal TB customer, but her shows are killing me - this one made me cringe.  Here you go:

Almost too minimalist, but that's what Calvin Klein is all about.  This collection was full of clean lines, architecturally-inspired details and yes, wearable outfits, in a pale palette.  Here are my five picks:

I want this! - Yellow jewelry

Seems like the 2011 resort collections have made me want to add some yellow to my life, jewelry to be more specific ('cause it's a quick wardrobe update).  I was really inspired by the "my take" DVF outfit - love how the yellow pops and just feels right for summer.  So I hunted down some fun yellow jewelry that I wouldn't mind owning.

My Five - Chris Benz Resort 2011

I'm slowly becoming a fan of Chris Benz, this collection is really outstanding, I love the whole vibe.  The colors and color combinations are outstanding, very fresh and the mixing of fabric textures is sophisticated (I feel a "my take" coming - LOL!).  Here are my five favorite looks:

I want this! - Kate Spade bangles

I saw this behind the scenes Lonny Magazine video recently featuring Deborah Lloyd, who is Kate Spade's Co-President and Creative Director, and I was totally obsessed with her bangle bracelets.  It's literally all I could focus on. 


Now, I'm not a bangle person at all, I blame this on my job.  I use a Wacom tablet with my CAD system (I even have a tablet for my own computer) and bracelets of any sort just seemed to get in the way, I always ended up taking them off (and I don't like them clanking around my watch that I wear on my other arm).   Bottom line, I have issues - LOL!  But now that I'm not working outside the home, maybe I should give them another try.  Here are my favorites from Kate Spade, naturally:
