Fendi Fall 2010

Interesting collection, almost utilitarian (check out the rubber covered toes on the pumps), I found it really wearable.  I always forget Karl Lagerfeld designs Fendi's clothes, that man must not ever sleep (and must have some kick-a** teams!).  I did have one moment of absolute drop everything love - allow me to introduce you to my new Fall 2010 obsession:

Good stuff and in yellow no less (so not like me) - it's the inside print that seals the deal though.

Is Karlie Kloss Everywhere or What?

Girlfriend is all over, you can't crack open a magazine without seeing her in an ad or editorial and she has been all over the runways this year.  I'm not complaining though, she kind of reminds me of the supermodels of the past.  She is a Model, you know the type, the girls who move and pose so elegantly that their pictures are divine. She's only 17 (which means she was born after I graduated from High School - oh dear) so I have a feeling we'll be seeing lots more of her in the future.

D&G Fall 2010

Hello Nordic theme!  I looked through this collection while I was watching the Winter Olympics so it sort of fit.  A bit repetitive with color and motif (and the parade of white dresses at the end) but hey, it's D&G, they love a theme.  Here are my picks:

Prada Fall 2010

This is a really lovely collection, a little dark (colorwise, I mean) with lots of little black dresses to choose from.  Lots of cable knits, even a "cable knit" print, and what looks like knitted leather handbags.  Shoes to die for - as usual.  Those crazy cat eye glasses with eyebrows, genius.  Oh, and she used - relatively - curvy models (like Lara Stone and some Victoria's Secret gals).  I always find Miuccia's ('cause we are totally on a first name basis - ha!) work to be very intelligent and relevant.  I may not love every look that trots down a runway, but I respect it.  Here are the looks I liked:

I want this! - Jonathan Adler needlepoint Zodiac pillows

Oh my love affair with Jonathan Adler continues (come on Jonathan, you and Simon give me a call so we can hang out, please?  No?  Oh well).  I'm loving these Zodiac needlepoint pillows - $98 each.  Of course, I would have to get one for each person in the house.  First, moi the Scorpio:
